C&F supports the “Children’s University” in Aleppo
Posted on

C&F supports children’s right to live in fit conditions and receive education all around the world. This is why we started our cooperation with The Saint Nicholas Foundation, which has been running daily remedial classes in literacy, math and English for children in Aleppo, Syria.

More than 100 children participate in educational, sports and art classes organized by our local partner in Aleppo at the Hope Center. “Children’s University” helps them develop talents and spend time in a safe place, under the care of qualified personnel. The initiative is now taking care of 180 children aged 6 to 12.

We decided to help these children in Aleppo because we believe access to education can drastically improve the lives of children who have suffered as a result of warfare in Syria.

The “University” also provides daycare and psychological support, with experienced tutors safeguarding individual development of children participating in activities, clubs and trips.

As The Saint Nicholas Foundation has been operating in Aleppo since 2018, its employees and volunteers have been able to amass a wealth of experience, and know how to help children in need.  Therefore, we believe that this will be a fruitful collaboration and that with our support the children will be able to better benefit from the “Children’s University’s” daycare and talent classes.
