At the beginning of this year we started cooperating with the charity, Fundacja Iskierka. Thanks to our support under the CF4GOOD program, 2000 copies of the nutrition and cooking guide #jedzOnko found their way to oncology wards all around Poland.
The book is chock full of valuable verified information for children, parents and caregivers on how to prepare healthy balanced meals, and how to instill healthy eating habits in young patients.
The educational project JedzONKO was conceived at the turn of 2016, as a result of conversations with parents and caregivers of children patients in oncology wards. Fundacja Iskierka researched and compiled practical recipes that can be cooked here in Poland, even for children in hospital treatment. Copies of the book are given away free of charge to children patients everywhere in Poland.
The guide has been very well received by children, their parents, as well as by experts: oncologists, hematologists, nutritionists, dieticians, and chefs.
